Here's what we were working with - an older system that had run its course. The homeowner wanted something more efficient that could handle both heating and cooling without relying on two separate systems. That's exactly where a heat pump makes a lot of sense.

We swapped out the old unit and installed a Goodman heat pump that qualifies for a rebate. That's a big deal. Rebate-qualifying equipment means the homeowner gets a more efficient system and has an opportunity to offset some of the upfront cost. It's a win on both ends.

Heat pumps work differently than a traditional A/C and furnace combo. Instead of generating heat, they move it - pulling warmth from the outside air into your home in winter, and pushing heat out in summer. It's a more efficient process, and it's why so many homeowners are making the switch.

What we ended up with is a clean installation on a solid pad, properly wired and ready to go. The homeowner now has one system doing the job of two - keeping the home cool when it's hot and warm when it's cold. No more worrying about an aging unit limping through another season.

If your system is getting up there in age or you've been thinking about upgrading to something more efficient, a heat pump replacement is worth looking into. We handle everything from the assessment to the full A/C installation and beyond.
