Here's a full system swap we put together for a homeowner in Lindon. New furnace going in downstairs, new Goodman coil staged and ready, and a brand new Goodman condenser set outside. When a system goes, it makes sense to replace the whole thing at once - not piece it together over a few seasons.
The furnace installation is where a lot of the detail work happens. Getting the venting lined up correctly, making sure the wiring is clean, and confirming airflow is dialed in before anything gets buttoned up. Shortcuts in this phase show up later as uneven heating, short cycling, or worse. We don't rush it.
The evaporator coil - that's the Goodman unit you see prepped and waiting to go in - sits right on top of the furnace inside the home. It's the indoor half of your air conditioning system. When that coil is matched correctly to both the furnace and the outdoor condenser, your whole system runs more efficiently and lasts longer. Mismatched equipment is one of the most common reasons systems fail early.
Outside, the new condenser is set on a pad and being wired up. Clean placement, proper clearance, everything where it needs to be. Getting the outdoor unit right is just as important as the indoor work - it's handling the heat exchange that keeps your home cool all summer.
A system like this, done right from the start, is something a homeowner shouldn't have to think about for years. That's the goal every time we pull equipment into a home.
