We were out in American Fork for a standard AC repair call - nothing out of the ordinary on the surface. But once our techs opened up the unit and started working through the electrical components, they caught something that had nothing to do with the original complaint: a missing ground wire.

A ground wire might sound minor, but it's actually a critical safety component. Without it, your system is running unprotected. If something goes wrong electrically, that missing ground is the difference between a tripped breaker and a much bigger problem. It's the kind of thing that's easy to overlook if you're just focused on getting the unit running again - but we don't work that way.

We took care of it on the spot. The green ground wire you can see properly terminated and secured at the grounding lug - that's the fix. Clean, correct, and done right. The system also got a full diagnostic check with our manifold gauge set to make sure refrigerant pressures were where they needed to be.

This is exactly why thorough AC repair matters. You call us for one thing, and we make sure we're not handing the system back to you with something else waiting to become a problem. Those small details add up to a system that runs safely and reliably instead of one that keeps coming back with issues.

If your AC is acting up - or if it's been a while since anyone's looked at it closely - we're out in Utah County regularly and happy to take a look.
